Vanilla Extract

Vanilla Extract is a solo dance theater work about the messy, exhilarating process of becoming more fully yourself. Conversational, character-driven, and rooted in improvisation, the piece explores what it means to be seen, to take up space, and to reckon with the many selves we carry. The work moves between private internal dialogue and public performance, exploring secrecy, euphoria, fear, humor, and the unruly energy of becoming, as it slowly peels back the layers of what we reveal, what we protect, and what we are willing to share.
